Some Fav Quotes

“The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing, because an artful life requires being prepared to meet and withstand sudden and unexpected attacks.”

“When you first rise in the morning tell yourself: I will encounter busybodies, ingrates, egomaniacs, liars, the jealous and cranks. They are all stricken with these afflictions because they don’t know the difference between good and evil. Because I have understood the beauty of good and the ugliness of evil, I know that these wrong-doers are still akin to me . . . and that none can do me harm, or implicate me in ugliness—nor can I be angry at my relatives or hate them. For we are made for cooperation.”

The End

Let’s dance!
(still have David Bowie’s song in my head)

Today my son is getting surgery (minor, nothing major). So, while my wife is spending the night with him in the hospital, it’s just me and my little girl. So, that means we’re cooking pasta tonight, her favorite dish : )

I also broke 80 kilograms. Through a combination of just eating 800 calories two days a week and eating less processed foods overall, I am trying to get to 78.5. Man, losing weight is much harder when you’re over 40!

Getting excited about my mom visiting, the cocktail party I’m hosting on the 27th, and getting in shape.

Have a great weekend!
